Default Organising Yourself

Keeping track of daily life can be a struggle, especially when you have to factor in so many other people...

Top Tip:

Google's Online Calendar is an excellent online calendar service and well worth signing up for, I'll tell you why...

1) Its free!

2) Its very easy to use and navigate, as is usual with Google's tools.

Now we come to the good stuff:

3) You can share all (or specific) of your calendar entries with other users. So for example, if I arrange a party I can invite all the guests simply by enterting their email addresses, they each receive an invite and the event will appear in their calendars. Why not share calendar entries with your wife or husband? This way you can each keep constant track of what your collective plans are as well as keeping your personal engagements private.

4) You can add other selected calendar entries to your calendar, for example I enjoy watching sports, and so I search for, say "England Rugby" find their calendar and add all the entries to my calendar in one click. My calendar now appears with reminders of all England's upcoming Rugby games.

5) You can also publish "Public Events" so for example if you organise a local event such as a show, performance or sale this event can appear to all those that are interested and search for it.

Of course being online, you can access your calendar at anytime from any computer or from your mobile, laptop or PDA.

I find it invaluable...

There are calendars for all sorts of NASA activity, inclucing one specific to the Space Shuttle, launch dates, key events etc...

Anyone can create a public calendar, and I think that there must be thousands by now covering just about any activity you can think of...
