Following the news that North Korea will soon make a Nuclear bomb test. Is it time that the UN stepped in with some decisive action and used military means to destroy North Korea's Nuclear infrastructure?

Well its certainly a relevant topic now - looks like the North Koreans have tested a nuclear weapon last night
The UN Security Council meet today and no doubt this will be top of the adgenda. But is military intervention appropriate? Its arguably got us no where in Afganistan and Iraq................. |

It sure is!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/6034873.stm I say, bring in the big guns and take out all their major weapons manufacturing installations. Can't do us any harm and should put them back a few years at least in theor development! Unless they store their nukes "armed" (assuming that they have more) there is next to no chance of setting them off. ___________________________________ Top Tips Forum - Friendly Help and Advice Technology, your Computer, the Environment, Money and Finance, Sports, Health and Fitness and Much More. |

You are nuts, James!
We (the West) have got this planet in enough trouble without starting more wars. I think these things need communication and understanding rather than bombs. |

Lucky you are not in charge of a Superpower James! Bad day at the office? Who can we bomb?!
Only kidding. But it does make you think about the emotional strengths of who we elect to lead.... may be having an automon is best so they do not let emotion effect decision making. |
