Default American Security Issues

I hate the amount of information that is passed around about me as I go about my daily life. Why do certain people demand to know so much information about me when I am guilty of no crime?

I really think our civil liberties and freedoms are being slowly but surely being erroded, I decided to avoind travelling to the US since they insisted on taking my finger prints on arrival. I'm glad that the EU are resisting renewed talks about passing passanger data about flights arriving in the US:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/5395928.stm

Are you happy to travel to the US knowing that a total of 34 pieces of data will be transferred to authorities within 15 minutes of your flight's departure for the US, and that you will be finger printed on arrival?

Crazy if you ask me.

I think it is very obsurd because it is such a large country with people flying in every day. However at the same time fear does create the approval for going through such drastic measures of security. Maybe the world has become to globalized and they're trying to halt it. Im not going there anytime soon!
