Eating more fruit...
Fruit is excellent, but I don't eat enough, I'm not sure why, but maybe because its just annoying, its sticky, it makes a mess, goes off. Its just so much easier to grab biscuits or crisps from the supermarket shelf...
So I've started a new approach...

Making fruit salad is an excellent way to enjoy more fruit. I buy 4 apples, 4 oranges, 4 bananas, a large bunch of seedless white grapes and 2 lemons.
When I get home from shopping (and had a cup of tea) I then set about making my fruit salad, get all the peeling, washing, seed removing nonsense out of the way in one go.
I then have a large bowl of fruit salad in the fridge for the next few days that I just tuck into with a fork whenever I'm peckish. No mess, no sticky fingers. Brilliant.

Cut your individual orange slices in half at the middle - that way its quick and easy to slip the seeds out.

Squeeze the juice of the two lemons over your fruit salad, it keeps the apples from going brown but also gives the whole thing a great zangy flavour.
