Now that I am getting a bit older those extra pounds are easier to put on...so when thinking about cooking there are a few tips to keep your dinner on the healthy side.....
This means you use less saturated fat and you also keep more of the good stuff in the food itself. |

Oooooooooo got a good one from my Mamma!
She uses this one to keep the old man's cholesterol levels down
I guess you would use this when the cheese is a main flavouring, otherwise you could go for a half fat option Last edited by james : 1st November 06 at 06:51 PM. |

I have heard that also James - although I am not sure if eating four small pizzas a day is better than eating three big ones.......................
But you know I think your point emphasises the thread running through the concept of healthy eating, in that a little is better than a lot. We get fat as our bodies store excess energy in preparation for leaner times - so little portions would make sense to me. Enough fuel to keep your engine running but no excess. Another cheeky one.....
Do bear in mind you cant live on water alone, unless you are krill! Last edited by james : 8th November 06 at 03:18 PM. |
