Ah the cycle to work, dodging cars, pedestrians, broken glass, pog doo, traffic cones, potholes, drain covers, traffic police, ice, oil............
When you are riding regularly there will be days when the whole exercise seems like an uphill struggle. Especially when you are riding uphill. Seriously, though, it can seem a ride gets harder and harder when you imagine you should be getting fitter and stronger. A small tip to help you on your way.............

| Keep your tyre pressures topped up. Lots of bike tyres can be pumped up to quite a high PSI, but then lose that high pressure over a week or so and settle at a lower pressure. Lower pressure means more tyre in contact with the road means more friction means harder work for your legs. Keep 'em pumped! |
Do keep to the manufacturers reccommended max, though, riding on tires inflated so they are tight as snare drums makes for a slippery ride......
