| When peeling your fruit, save the skins of fruits like apples, pears, grapes etc. Then when all your fruit is in a bowl zap the skins through a blender with some water until you get a fruit juice. Then you can pour this over the fruit in the bowl. You keep all of the good vitamins contained in the skins and it helps preserve the fruit so it will last longer without browning. |
It may take a little experimentation with regard to which skins workk best. Apple, pear, grape and some melons are good I dont think banana skins work -they are too bitter.
