| Dont use a hosepipe to water the garden, use dishwater or bathwater. Better still, if you can get a waterbutt into which you can siphon off the 'grey' water, you would save literally thousands of litres |
Getting a waterbutt is the ultimate - the grey water can feed the garden, wash the car, all those things that use incredible amounts of water.
Not only will you save cash - but your carbon footprint will be smaller as you wont be asking the water company to use as much electricity to pump the water to your home.
